Santo Domingo is the capital of the Dominican Republic, and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Caribbean.

Santo Domingo is located in the central southeast of the island La Española. There is a marvellous beach here called Boca Chica which enjoys a perfect climate, and has a range of accomodation options available including all inclusive hotels and beach front apartments. This is a great place for a holiday, enjoying outdoor sports, white sands and clear waters.

Santo Domingo has an impressive colonial area dating from the sixteenth century. This was the first city to be founded in the New World, and it has many historic buildings. In this amazing city you will find museums and many monuments. There are also plenty of shopping opportunities on the avenues of this city of more than a million inhabitants.
